The open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal Science & Military has created possibilities for publishing scientific articles by Slovak and foreign authors, who deal with the research in the field of:  Military Science;  Engineering and Technology;  Natural Sciences. 

We accept original contributions, not published elsewhere, in English language for publishing. The contributions must meet the required quality and formal criteria and are subject to an double-blind peer review process. The review process is anonymous, carried out by at least two independent reviewers selected from the range of experts recommended by the Editorial board. On the reviewers decides the Editor in chief. 

The Science & Military Journal is published in accordance with an Open Access (OA) under the Creative Commons Attribution – NoDerivatives International License (CC BY-ND 4.0).

Authors who publish with the Science & Military journal  agree to the following terms:

• Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives (CC BY-ND 4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
• Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work, with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in Science & Military

Journal Science & Military is published twice a year in printed and online form. The online version has been always published in June and December every year. The printed version is issued and distributed with one month delay. 

The deadlines for the delivery of the papers in calendar year is March 1 and September 1. Contributions received after the deadline will be assigned to papers for the following issue. 

Those interested in publishing may submit their contributions prepared in accordance with the Ethical Standards, Guidelines for Authors and Template (.doc 332 kB).  By submitting their contribution, the author confirms that they are familiar with the Ethical Standards, Guidelines for Authors, Review process and the GDPR and accepts them without reservations.

After delivery, the article is checked for text similarity through the Crossref Similarity Check which helps Crossref members prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism by providing immediate feedback regarding a manuscript’s similarity to other published academic and general web content, through reduced-rate access to the iThenticate text comparison software from Turnitin.

Each one of the authors and co-authors of a published contribution is entitled to one paper copy of the journal Science & Military. 

Science & Military journal publishes contributions without any processing or submission charges.
